RED Camera - MONSTRO 8K (WIP)

Decided to go and make this little tiny, weensy little camera. Its a beast of a product with some nice design methodology, combining hard industrial design with a softer consumer focused edginess. I will be combining the designs of multiple different generations of RED cameras but the overall shape will not change much. This will be my WIP thread.

First High of the Project: A 43Wh rechargeable lithium-ion battery, weighs in at less than 1 lb. Compatible with any RED V-Lock battery expander or module.

Second High of the Project: A V-Lock I/O Expander. This expander is an ideal solution for a wide variety of production environments—from low-profile run-and-gun situations to studio shoots that require mobility.

Third High of the Project: DSMC2 Top Handle, Ergonomic and intuitive, the DSMC2® Top Handle was engineered entirely around the most important action for any shooter—the record button.

Fourth High of the Project: Just one of the stabilisation arms for some of the larger elements of the rig.

Fifth high of the Project: The camera lens hub and lens along with the pieces put together.

Its been a while as ive been having a big move. Here is the latest of my RED camera. The sixth high of the project, the DSMC2® LEMO Adaptor allows users to attach high quality displays to the RED brain.

Part 6,7 and 8 of the Camera. This is the side panel that allows for data transfer to the RED memory cards.

The third and final upload of the weekend. I have finished the high for the RED Brain module, where all of the other modules are attached.

Great shapes on this. To nitpick wildly, the top panel (is it a video screen?) texel resolution seems less than the other parts, and draws the eye there.

Hey peter, currently it is all high so texel isnt taken into account at this stage. But yes it is a small video screen

So, I was speaking as to the appearance of the back of the video screen. If it's all still HP, then perhaps the noise pattern on this is mismatched in terms of frequency to the rest. Like I said, I was nitpicking, it's fine work and I'm glad you shared it, it's nice to see.
