Hi Guys, starting this topic to follow my progression of my studies as a enviroment artist.
Feel free to comment and critique. I will be happy with any feedback that will make me improve my work.
Here is a foliage that I work on.
I created the base mesh of the leafs on Zbrush, arranged them in maya, and baked and texture in Substance Designer.
Thanks;

thks.
Here is the moss material apply on the terrain
I used just two lights, a Area Light with a HDRi map and a Direction light, both as movable. To improve the lights i watched the Unreal 4 Lighting Academy videos on youtube [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=grN5Yd55UIM].
I changed the materials on the Stone House to make more affect by the time. And apply the moss material on the close stones, just to got the mood of the scene. And applied the my bark material on the tree pines.

Thanks.
I finished my submission to Artstation Challenge - The Legend of King Arthur.
Check it out!

This week I worked on the material for the old posters, check it out.
Small nitpicking. The green graffiti feels a bit too clean for me, and is grabbing all of my attention. The scale of the dumpster and trash cans feels a little small? Maybe you could put a base character in there to compare with. I also think some of the placement is a little too perfect, when the dump truck picks up the container it wouldn't place it down back perfectly straight for example.
I look forward to seeing more!
I really like this new light because make the scene much more photo realistic.
For the next steps I want to update some materials, the buildings on the background and also add more props and banners to the stores facades.
@snake85027 Here's a video showing the use of tiling texture and world aligned texture to break de repetition and blend materials.

I made some updates on the scene, add more trash on the ground and new signs and posters to the store fronts.
But the most important update is the PBR valitator that I used on the project made by Harrison Eilers. It's a post processing material that give the information of wrong values of color and roughness. VERY usefull. With this material I improved the photo realistic look of the scene.

I use the same technique used in Marvels Spider-Man. You can check out the artstation tutorial from one of Insomniac's technical artists: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/W290vD

thank you!
I'm working on a new scene that I started on the CGMA Modular Environments course but I was unable to finish in the ten weeks of the course. Now I'm back to my studies and I want to add more props to the scene and work more with lighting and composition.
Here's a preview. Any critique and comments are welcome o/
Thank you!
