Epic's policy regarding releases is that patch releases like 4.20 -> 4.20.1 can fix bugs but cannot change class interfaces or functionality. This means that it's almost always safe (and usually a good idea) to use the newest patch for a given release.
So in short: a version release change, like 4.19 -> 4.20 may require changes to your project, but a patch release, like 4.20 -> 4.20.1 almost never will.
