Not visible (with img)

Hi, sorry I'm kinda new here in 3d, I'm using maya 2017, my problem is the object is not showing, trying the display show all but not working, it compose of furnitures, my classmate did this, he select all the object, combine then create layer from selected at the layer editor, as you can see in the img the Visible part is On from the layer editor even in the outliner there alot of items and when I try to move one of the object, I can only see the arrows. Help is much appreciated guys and Thank you for the replies.
