Ok lets get serious and one level more professional and lets ask proper questions, even though I don't need to. What do you mean by you can't customize? I would presume the animation is baked in. Does it look like it has a key every frame, so it overwrites your stuff? There isn't really such a thing as you can't modify something in Max.
I want to make slight changes in mixamo's animations that is what I want. In the default runing animation model holds the gun with both hands and runs but I want him to hold the gun with right hand and shake the left hand while running.
Basically we don't care about what you want to make, show us what prevents you. Why are you unable to do that. Show a printscreen if you cannot describe the error. I still don't know why you cannot customize the animation. You want to shake the hand, ok. But why? What happens when you try to shake that hand with your current workflow.

The point here is that when you post here and don't put much effort into your presentation then we tend to put the same interest into helping. You'll see the pattern if you spend enough time here. Posts with detailed help from multiple busy pros resolve issues 99% of the time, replete with images/step-by-steps/links/asset download investigation......the works. And in each of those cases you will find that the OP has helped us help him.
The abstract single sentence thread openings.....not so much.
I think if the character was rigged then mixamo would show the bones and the mesh propperly but I looks like mixamo removed auto rigger for some reason
