Telltale is looking for a Producer, who will report to the Executive Producer.  The Producer is responsible for scheduling, tracking, managing and delivering Telltale interactive content and functions as the key day to day team  manager/advocate. 

Summary:

Reporting to the Executive Producer, the Producer is responsible for scheduling, tracking, managing and delivering Telltale interactive content and functions as the key day to day team  manager/advocate.

Responsibilities:
  • Partner with Executive Producer and Creative Director to review and refine project vision, scope, quality, and requirements, and manage constraints towards the goal of overall product quality. 
  • Nurture a healthy and collaborative culture. Advocate for the player and for the team.
  • Ensure project needs are clearly defined, effectively communicated and addressed.
  • Manage the development team towards the successful completion of milestones.
  • Develop and deliver plans that anticipate and mitigate the complex needs of the development process.
  • Collaborate with central resource and external production teams.
  • Partner with QA, build and release teams to manage submission process.
  • Encourage and demonstrate continuous improvement.
  • Manage and mentor Associate and Assistant Producers.
  • Lead by example in problem solving and risk mitigation.
  • Drive prototyping and creative problem solving efforts.
  • Challenge assumptions and learn from mistakes.
  • Collaborate with team leadership to define and implement plans for improvement.
  • Allocate and track resources. Actively track and anticipate risks.
  • Communicate status to senior management and to team.
Experience:
  • Must have had Producer, Project Manager, or Development Director responsibility on at least two successful AAA game development projects, managing game development teams to on-time delivery, quality expectations and budget.
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience in related business.
  • 7+ Years of production and project management experience, preferably in a development environment.
