I've stated to block out my dragon and I would really like some feedback on the anatomy/proportions. I fairly new to sculpting and modeling, so this is just a project where I can learn and have fun. And perhaps have a portfolio piece at the end.
Like I said, I'm fairly new to this, but I feel that there is something off with the anatomy/proportions, but I can't put my finger on it.
Hey! I'm a sucker for a dragon so I wanna see how this turns out! I like the block out so far, what I'd say though is that he looks quite front heavy, if that makes sense. I'd maybe add some mass to the back legs and definitely thicken the tail, at least at the base. There's also something off about the neck for me, generally, I would think the neck would be thinner near the middle but thicken up again as all the muscles join to support the head.
@LeahM Thanks alot for your feedback. I totally agree with you that the front looks heavy, When I was blocking it out I was thinking that the front bears alot of weight due to the wings and head, but I will try to and buff off the back legs and see how that looks. I will also try to refine the neck a little.
I've worked a little more on my dragon. I tried to buff opp the back/hind and I changed the neck and head position. I haven't had much time to work on it, but I thought I I would try to keep this post updated.
Though I'd update this post. Been awhile since I've had any time to work on this piece, but I got a couple of hours in tonight. I've made some details on the head and some muscles on the body.
Here are some perspective shots. If I should post some other angles, let me know. The muscles on the back legs are not done yet and the chest scales was just a test. I'm going to change these.

I can't wait to see more from this! Keep going!
You should probably hinge it's mouth open, instead of the cutout you have atm. Makes riggers' lives easier.
I feel that you should define the musculature further before adding details.
