Model Tips for Architecture in Maya to Unreal

For a Project i chose to take a modern japanese Flat, as you can see its isnt that complex.
First i started to Block out every Wall,floor, Ceiling. Instead Subdividing/extruding everything from one block i just mashed in Blocks.
The result was a chaotic combinations of Blocks, some of them are intersecting each other ( Living Room Floor, and Bedroom)

My question is how i should proceed after this rough sketch, should i do Methode
a) Every seperate romm out of one Block ( Subdivide and extrude )
or
b) Rebuild everything out of seperate Cubes ?
 
What technique is efficiant, how can i avoid placing the Collision Boxes for everz single Room in Unreal Engine
