I wanted to challenge myself to create a game ready character of the great Khan Noonien Singh, superbly portrayed by the immortal Ricardo Montalban.
The major challenge besides the skin detail was capturing all the tiny electrical elements and intricate wiring across his sash, communicator and necklace into a optimised contiguous mesh for each object.
There is a unique sense of order to these accessories despite the chaotic madness of its wearer.
Substance painter was incredibly useful in their texturing process.
Khan also comes with a bowl, pair of forceps and pair of slimy Ceti Eel babies.
This is my humble tribute to the greatest anti-hero of Star Trek's golden years.

I am also currently looking for full time/part time/freelance work as a 3D character Artist.

Skin still needs some love. It's reading too plasticy and perhaps hue monotone. Do you have close ups of the face?
I think the lighting maybe affecting the skin detailing, I raised the specularity a wee bit so the details reflect better, and skin looks a little wet/oily. I could raise it a bit more.
Thanks!
I will try a few render passes with different lighting.
If there is subsurface scattering on the face, it could stand to be stronger.
How are the eyes constructed? Is there a cornea? Eye wetness? They look a little dead still.
Arnold might be a better renderer for skin, will need an upgrade to my computer before I can use it.
Eyes have a cornea whose spec was too low and bright lighting was eating at the reflection.
