Started thinking I would do a quickie. But ended up investing quite a bit more than I anticipated. Drew a lot of inspiration from Spiderverse Trailer in the stop-motionesque animation; multiples and distortion instead of motionblur; the saturated color palette; and subtle halftone patterns in the highlights and shadows. I'm happy with how it turned out.

Also condensed the entire process, about 45hrs, to under a minute. Youtube link.
