Help educate a clueless dev

Hi all,
I'm a producer who wants to know more about the 3D animation pipeline. I've had the pleasure to work with concept artists and modelers, but I have never worked with animators before. I've done a lot of research myself, but I'd like to learn more directly from animators. I don't want to post a lot of broad questions, so please PM me if you'd like to answer some of my questions. Thanks for helping me out!
