Hi everyone, I'm teaching myself Zbrush and just had a quick question. I've been watching a lot of instructional videos, but none answered this question...
how many polys are there generally for a finished sculpture in character art? for both portrait and figure used for games and film.

Film artists aren't really concerned by polygon count since all their renders are handled by supercomputers, making the theoretical polygon count infinite. For a game, you will almost never see the final high poly mesh rendered in a game. That's information that only gets saved to a low poly mesh via normal & displacement maps.
