Hey friends. I'm working on a personal animation project that revolves around hover vehicles using electric gounding coils, not unlike what you would see on a Ghost from the Halo series. I've been trying to mimic how electricity moves and looks to make it as realistic and believable as I can. I used a Noise modifier and Skinned some objects together and rigged certain keys areas with helpers to lock the Noise in place. For materials I used a Glow map with Noise then added a glare output channel, and went over one more time with a Glow in After Effects. Please let me know what you think!

I upped the frequency of the body and made the forks slimmer. I also doubled the segments in the body and the forks to give the Noise more to work with. It definitely looks better thanks!
