For real though, I've worked on at least two games that'll be shown off this E3, super excited to see the final trailers!
That and Red dead 2
battlefield should be cool, and will be interesting to see Anthem in action hopefully. Mentally preparing myself for the sheer glut of battle royale games that will most likely be announced as AAA's start to cash in on the trend.
EDIT: Looks so good!

I'm looking forward to hearing more about CD Project Red's cyperpunk game which I hope is there?
That said, one thing I'll always like about e3 is that it amazes how so many games are made in secret and kept tightly lipped until June.
Edit: Watching the latest stream, I'm going to admit I'm seeing all the cheesiness and non stop marketing speak. "We love gamers" "Gamers are going to love this" "Gamers are asking for..." Ugh, it's getting harder to stomach this stuff.
That landscape!

The games no doubt look great, but now it feels like we're entering the stage of continued sequels/recycled ideas, and no risk taking gameplay. Basically, it feels like the same point the PS3/360 were at in 2012. The tech has been mastered, but all the experimental games & tech demos become fewer and fewer.
I was even hoping to see some PSVR stuff but it looks like Sony has held off on it.
I really hope 2019 is the year they announce new hardware. It doesn't even have to launch in the same year, just a tease would be good enough just to shake up the industry and get people thinking about the future. Otherwise, I feel like spending more time following PC gaming again.

Two other good trailers for those that haven't seen them (for Remedys new game "Control", and CDPR's Cyberpunk 2077):

Then again this is a sensible thing to do.
My favorite (besides Sable) is Ghosts of Tsushima, what a lovely game!
As usual this E3, too many shooters, zombie games, dull looking empty open worlds and lackluster indies...
Death Stranding was a real surprise though.
Ghost of Tsushima was breathaking visually and TLOU part 2 looks on point with ND behind the wheel as usual.
Microsoft won for the best conference.

Noita also looks delicious!
I could at least understand with PS4/XBO, making fancy photorealistic AAA games costs a lot of money and time. But with Nintendo, they're working with handhelds which is like a PS3/360 on steroids.
Their never ending software droughts pretty much made me drop them after the 3DS. Overall, the current console landscape makes me sad. I want to see more competition, instead of companies just sitting on their laurels and going with safe bets.

Sony's conference was so underwhelming to me...I hope they don't repeat the whole scenario change plan again. It slows everything down, even more so if they refuse to show other games in the meantime because they don't want their live audience to feel like they're missing stuff as they move from stage to stage. Microsoft's was the most entertaining one, easily. I also really liked Nintendo's, I loved the huge media coverage on Smash and how in-detail they went.

Sony has always been fantastic at spotting and backing talented studios, like the did with Media Molecule and Naughty Dog back in 2001 and its great that MS is noticing it needs more of its own IP if it wants to compete. There's still so many talented studios that could be backed at a song especially while they are at their grass roots, here is a list of some very talented studios - LINK
