You are probably aware that Alan's Camilo ''ATools'' got a complete overhaul and is now being re-featured as AnimBot with a complete set of new features?

I feel naked if I try to animate without aTools. Been following animbot progress and the last 2 features I need before removing aTools is this motion trail and the align objects to selected. The UI is amazing, it is such a great toolbar.

Yes, you can use all the features as hotkeys or shelf buttons. You will be limited as far as UI interaction, though. Maya shelf won't allow you to fully experience the sliders, shift clicks, etc. In this case you can always toggle the toolbar on and off.

Alan! Cool to see you post here love your toolbars

I have a couple questions with animBot if you happen to see this:
Is the flow tangent from aTools (where it gives you that perfectly smooth curve) going to make it to animbot?
I'm having trouble adding hotkeys that contain Shift+(a key) for e.g. Shift+2 or @ not working in animbot, but working in aTools

Yeah, the flow tangent has a new name in animBot: smooth tangent. It's placeholder is there, but not ready yet.
The shift thing is a bug on my list.. ATM, you can add something else as a hotkey, then edit your hotkeys file under /maya/2018/prefs/hotkeys
I'll fix it eventually, I'm pushing to finish all tools first
