Hey all,
I realize you're probably all going to say "He's pro, practice more." but I'm stumped at the moment. I'm unsure of how Brendan Sullivan (
https://www.artstation.com/brendansullivan ) is able to unwrap his models so that the pixels are perfectly proportioned. Do any of you have tips? I'm using Blender and Photoshop. On the garbage can you can see how wonky the pixels get when objects are tapered. Square objects such as the monitor / phone below it are fine.

It's impossible to unwrap anything more complicated, without having to deal with skewing and distortion.
Where you place edges, flattening and separating UV islands, etc, can help control the skewing and how pixels are laid out on a mesh.
