Maya - Lost progress or still salvageable?

Opened one of my projects today just to find most of the work gone. Thought that I had it hidden, but i was wrong. Tried exporting it, that didn't work either. Should I keep trying to salvage it or just re do it?

Check the Console to see if there are error messages.

If it is your personal work you can upload your scene somewhere. Maybe there is still a chance to recover something
