Hey everyone,

Just a tree stump I have been working on for a little. Not much else to say, hope you like it so far and any thoughts, advice or general talking is always welcome

Add some off hues subtly to the albedo of the bark texture.
What are you rendering this in?

I like the gentle feel I get overall.

Sorry, I'm terrible at understanding

off hues as in slight subtle patches of colour changes? I'm just rendering using Marmo 3 with a 3 point light system and GI enabled.

I feel like most tree stumps have a very characteristic gradual transition between the main trunk and the roots. Yours has a harsher break, which I think could benefit from being smoothed out (please forgive the crappy drawing)

Adjusted lighting, made the roots flow into the main body more and added more leaves. @fhurtubise thanks for the advice, I have adjusted based on the feedback, hope it looks a little better. Need to adjust the textures on the bark still. Stil a lot more to do
