Hello everyone, I have a question please, when I start to model a game prop, do I have to consider the size of it if i am going to sell it on stores? does it have to be a real life size in cms for instance...or relative to a human reference... or whatever anything the one who is going to use it will scale it in unity/unreal??

It takes only 2 seconds to scale an object into centimeters. For convenience reasons, I would just do it.

We could talk about "have to" this, "have to" that.

But if we were buying an asset, what do we figure?

Would we prefer it to be scaled sensibly? Sized according to reality?

Or should it be some random scale, and let the devil take the gizmo?

What's more useful for the customer?

    ; )

If it's for the Unreal store it should work by default with their skeleton sizes. Conveniently 1 Unreal Unit corresponds to 1 cm (used to be different in UDK) so you should go with real scale in cm. I'm not sure what Unity uses, but the same should apply ie:model in a scale that works out of the box.
