MZ, the creator of the globally successful Game of War, Mobile Strike, and Final Fantasy XV mobile games, is looking for creative, ambitious, highly skilled people to develop cutting edge next-generation Game Art for our massive scale mobile games.

 

The Senior 3D Artist is an integral part of the MZ Art team. You should have extensive experience in character and environment modeling and texturing with some familiarity in character rig setups for animation.

What you'll be doing:

• Creating outstanding 3D models, textures & shaders
• Lighting characters and Assets for render passes
• Implementing 3D art assets into the game engine
• Modeling both characters and environments proficiently

Your background and who you are:

• 3+ years as a 3D Artist with one AAA game for mobile or console
• BA in Art/ 3D computer graphics or equivalent
• Experience or knowledge in isometric game development & its technical limitations
• A team player
• Expert in MAYA, Z-Brush, Mudbox, Photoshop
• Experience with implementing assets into game engines
• Ability to model high quality characters and environments that meet technical and design requirements
• Understanding of daily scrum meetings and the value they bring in individual performance
• Ability to deliver high quality assets under tight timelines
• Strong fundamental art skills, including composition, design, and color theory

Bonus points:

• V-RAY for advanced lighting and shaders
• Multiple project experience in the game industry
• Some low level scripting experience, MEL, PYTHON
• Knowledge of XML script and tools
• Experience in character rigging and animation a plus
