Lost Tutorial!

Can anyone point me in the direction of a tutorial I lost?!
Basically the dude creates his own "Cube 3d" style node by rendering in to a kind of sprite sheet (I think)
He then creates a node with the images and is able to move the screw around in much the same was as you can with the "Cube 3d" node.
Then he uses it to make a bunch of rubble.
Its driving me nuts looking for it!
