Has anyone been contacted online for photos of your feet to draw for charity?

Hi all,

Has anyone been contacted by an art student on artstation for photos of your feet to draw for charity? The art project is called 'Feat around the world' 

and his school is collaborating with an organization called Impact. The charity cause sounds great and he was polite, but there are no sites of this organization or of the art project when I asked.

He gave me a link to google drive document containing the project's syllabus, which I haven't opened. He also gave me his email address (different than the one he has on his artstation profile).

I don't mean to shame anyone, I just want to be careful with giving away my photos online. What do you think I should do? Am I just being paranoid? I hope someone can give me advice on this since this is new to me.

a stranger on the internet is asking for photos of your feet. i'd think twice about that one

Worst case scenario, your feet end up on some fetish site but you don't collect any royalties. 

Maybe take pictures of them while wearing socks to give your feet more anonymity.  
Or put on boots.

If he contacted you through ArtStation, you should email them (support@artstation.com) explaining what happened.

Seconding reporting them to art station support, then forget about it and move on. You don't owe these pictures and seem uncomfortable with the idea anyway. Someone trying to privately contact people for this is inappropriate and could be a sign of predatory behavior in this case. They should really have some online presence if it somehow is a legit thing.

Yeah!  Especially a stranger.  I wouldn't send a picture and its good you shared this in case other people are getting that same message.  It reminds me of those mass email marketing ploys companies do.  Treat it like spam.

I mean, kind of a funny solicitation. Imagine if he's just a really well-meaning young man attempting to do his part for charity, and here we are kinkshaming the boy!

But, this makes me wonder: does your art make you seem like you have nice feet? Or do you think he just shotgunned the message to hundreds of artists, hoping he'd get back at least one really sexy foot photo?

Either way, yeah, don't open that google drive link. Super sketchy.

Yeah, that was what made me hesitated at first. What if he's genuinely just doing this for real charity? But then I decided to be on the safe side because he provided very little evidence of his claims. And his art account is a bit suspicious in my opinion.
No, not at all. I don't even have any art with bare feet character, so maybe he just sent messages to other random artists.
