Before the second phase of the idle, I'd suggest putting more motion into the fingers, maybe even a looping grasping animation. It would also add something to animate the tail swaying left and right in reptilian fashion.
As for the second phase of the idle at ~180, I would advise against using the head to lead with the turn. I think shifting the torso first and then the head at the end as a follow through would make it more natural, and if you intend to express a heavy weight to the character, this would add to that too. I think it'd also be better to tilt the head as it faces from one direction to the next, kinda reduces the man-in-croc-suit effect.
