Marmoset Viewer With Custom Shaders

Hello Pollycount,

So Im messing with Marmoset 3.04 and was playing around with custom shaders that I have found online and from this forum. My questions is, is it possible to have custom shaders work in a marmoset viewer? Every time I export it it will default back to a basic material.

Custom shaders are not supported in Viewer at this time. The big roadblock here is that the Viewer shaders are highly optimized to run on a wide variety of low end hardware, and it's not feasible to do the same sort of optimizations with custom/arbitrary shaders.

Did anything change regarding this in the latest versions of Toolbag 3? Custom shaders still seem to not export over to the web viewer. Just want to make sure it's still by design and not something I'm doing wrong

That is correct, custom shaders are not supported in Viewer. At this point, we do not have plans to add support for this feature. Thank you for the feedback.
