Hey guys, so I have a buddy here at work who's a rigger/animator and works in Max. Our studio mainly uses Maya (which is what I also use,) but he's requested that since we're working with very low poly meshes, I tweak some of the 'face edges' to allow for better deformation when animating, (the dotted edges inside a face, rather than on the borders.)
I've googled a few times and found that Max has a function called 'Edge turn', I was wondering if Maya had anything like this since we're upto version 2018 now? Alternatively, anyone know of any workarounds/scripts? I have noticed you can tweak the edge direction and angle by slightly moving the neighbouring verts, but I'd rather avoid having to do that and just be able to spin these edges manually. Any info would be great. Cheers

I'm talking about the face center edges (dotted lines,) which on a low poly mesh will affect how the mesh deforms during animation, not the poly border edges. In Max there seems to be a way to edit/spin them, but can't seem to find this in Maya? Alternatively I could just cut them in manually.
