Hello everyone! This is my first post (second but I don't really count that since it doesn't have any real content..), so be as harsh/critical as possible!!!

I'm thankful enough to be taking a CGMA course with ol' Clinton Crumpler on UE4 modular environments, and here's week one's progress so far! I'll try my best to keep posting weekly updates, so yeah!

My inspiration came mostly from the run-down office facades of Bladerunner (1982) and Cyberpunk 2077 how there's these skyscrapers that go into a fog above; cold rusty metal supports that keep the creaking concrete structures from falling; brothers, hotels, ads for "enhancements", and cheap food decorate the surrounding walls, skyline, and anywhere the eye can see. Dusty windows obfuscate the insides of office space or otherwise hidden rooms used for "acts"; cardboard and the luxurious window shades are substitutes for guaranteed privacy or deterrents from thugs looking to break in, in case they saw something shiny.

ENOUGH SETTING THE MOOD, here's my progress so far!

An aside: I know Asian-leaning Cyberpunk is almost unavoidable nowadays, what with how jumbled the aesthetic has become in recent years, but I feel this environment will be highly focused on more the cybernoire of Bladerunner -- the office fronts, megastructures loomin in the background, etc. I don't really find noodle shops to quite fit, but now that I think about it, in that back area could possibly be a food stand? I'm kind of torn the more I toss the idea around in my head...

Thoughts? Concerns? Toss 'em down!
