Hello, this is my first post on polycount, i hope this is the right category to post in.
I've started using substance designer for a few months now, i feel that i still don't know how to color properly.
i'm working on a mulch/bark texture, my workflow starts with the height/normal first then i move on to coloring like most people but whenever i attempt to use multiple colored sections i run into issues blending, I'm not sure how to mask/designate objects to color with the tile sampler, what i'm trying to do is add color variation to the bark/mulch per individual piece. What I've tried is making multiple tile sampler nodes and attempting to blend them but i cant seem to get it to work. Maybe my order of operation is wrong, i think the details i'm adding are causing masking issues before it goes into the tile sampler, but i don't see how to add piece specific details post-tile sampler
