Hello,

I haven't been to Polycount in a long time so first of all happy 20th birthday to this amazing platform! My name is David and I just finished my 3D Game Art course at Sheffield Hallam University. Please allow me to share with you the character that I worked on in the past three months alongside other university projects. A few details about the project: We were given complete freedom in what we wanted to work on, as long as it was related to the games industry. I have been focusing on character art this past year, this being the third character that I have ever made and I am very happy with the result. For the majority of my references I used 303rdbg.com. There was no polygon limit but the entire character sits at 40k tris including the parachute bag. Everything except the close up shot was rendered in Toolbag

Critique and feedback is most welcome, although I should say that I consider this piece finished, and I have now started working on a character for the Wild West challenge over at ArtStation.
