Hey guys and gals. I keep running into this random annoying problem where QUIXEL does not import my custom standard Material I created properly.
Steps: Clicked Add Material > Custom Materials > Choose material.
Expectation: Custom Material will be add to the scene and texture will be visible. Simple.
[Bug]: Pattern Overlay as a Layer Style effect is not created as it should. Instead it's just a 'Solid Color' layer with a the Reflectance Color.
(Fig. 1)What I should be getting is this.....
(Fig. 2) I've tried creating my custom standard material with different file formats.. .png, .tif, .jpg, ect. Same result.
Any ideas what could be happening?
Proud to be a Quixel customer and a new member of the polycount community,
Cheers,
Will

@musashidan is correct in the sense that you'll need to post these issues here where I can see them. I check other parts of Polycount very infrequently with the workload I have.
If you're running into issues with creating materials, the first thing I'd recommend is the simple admin rights fix:
1. Close Photoshop and the Suite.
2. Right click on Photoshop, choose Run As Administrator. This only needs to be done once, and does not need to be set to permanent administrator access.
3. Close Photoshop.
4. Run the Suite. If the issue persists, continue:
5. Close Photoshop and the Suite.
6. Right click on the Suite, choose Run As Administrator. This only needs to be done once, and does not need to be set to permanent administrator access.
Please let me know if this clears up any of the issues you're experiencing.
