[Maya} Arnold - depth of field?

Hey man. I'm trying to apply that to my model and it doesn't seem to be working still. Here's some images if you can see what I'm doing wrong...
This first image is with the model selected and the Distance From Camera reading at 264


Now the second image I have entered that distance and set the apature size to 1. It has gotten blurry in the view port, but not in the render...


this is the resulting render. I have SSS turned off to expedite it. Still doesn't seem to be working....

did you try the "enable DOF" checkbox right above the focus distance?
