Hello, I've been working on this little scene for a while, did some basic blockout and now im going for the props one by one. Some time ago I tried some different project, but it ended up being too much for me, keep in mind I've never done any stylized work so all the feedback is apprieciated. Also I'm gonna make some changes to the props, so it won't be 100% like in the concept.
My software: Blender, Zbrush, 3D-coat, photoshop, substance painter

GL with the rest of the props, will be watching!
Finished Chair! Marmoset is pretty good.
Any advice is appreciated, really!
That's a very ambitious project to take on, something complex and long. The way the wood transitions on those chairs, it is exceptional: from painted blue to the wood grain underneath I mean, the close ups look beautiful on their own. I like that you've taken on the spirit of the environment (as well) that's so crammed with things, even under the surface of those chairs (the painted surface) they're hiding something, and you've communicated that so well with your layers.
The only thing I noticed is, in your last post, the bottles on the table, the tallest one with the cloth(?) coiled around the top. The transition between that and the bottle is very harsh. If the scene is going to be unlit you might consider painting some AO onto the transition and little bit of color change to communicate the bounce light. All small things are all big things after all, like the wood on your chairs
You're right about the bottle and I'll definitely fix it! I'm trying not to take too much time on new props, or else its gonna take forever :P I think I could have done better job with bottles overall.
I love the modeling and detailing of the table.
Some notes:
the texturing of the table feels sort of uniform.
the wear is pretty similar all over, as well as the coloring.
And the texture of the paper has an indistingishable material. I would imagine the paper to be rougher, and if its old.....older.
Looking forward to your progress!
Here's something I'm working on right now.

I'm gonna put out final render in ZBrush once I complete every high poly.
Thanks, guys. Stay tuned.
