Is it possible to change the skeleton of a 3d model, in this case a .rigid_model_v2, through the use of a hex editor?? And if so any resources to read. thanks
I don't see why not, but using an editor made for doing so would make this task much more feasible. Why do you want to do this in hex and not maya/max/blender/whatever and what is your goal with the edits?
@throttlekitty I am a modder for total war warhammer. and they use a special file type as stated above. Maya doesnt have anyway to save the model as a Rigid_model_v2, unless i missed it. I can import models to a previous total war game through the companies editor. but it gets saved to a different skeleton.
If someone wants to get in contact through discord or skype so i can send model files for comparison. game 1 - game 2. I dont want to upload the files here because i do not own them, even though this for education purposes so i can import my own content.
