Autodesk to bring 3dsmax baking textures back

Hello guys,

Autodesk have removed mental ray from 3dsmax and with that removed baking options such as:
-Ambient Occlusion (Baking skybox with scanline is way to slow)
-Any cool light bouncing (Using final gather)
-High poly models baking (Scanline is super slow)

Arnold doesn´t have any baking option. Everything need to be baked now using scanline.
I am using third part tools to bake my stuff, but it was much faster for some stuff to stay inside 3dsmax.

If anyone want to help you can vote on this feature here:

Look this might be not a replacement but perhaps an alternative soloution for the baking prospects for 3dsMax and that is Blender

I started developing this year TexTools for Blender and it has a lot of baking modes simplified in a single interface (obviously you can do it manually as well but requires a lot more manual labor). Most of the baking modes use CYcles and the Cycles rendering engine is not going anywhere also because it is open source.

And then of course you have Handplane 3D or XNormal  as thirdparty laternatives. And of course you have OD Copy Paste External to bridge between different 3d apps, so a quick back and forth is an option as well.
