I am try to experiment with UV opacity map to make holes in a cylinder (bluetooh device), like the image I provided. When I made the uv the holes at the end of cylinder it goes too small unlike the image reference.
How to achieve effect like this, and is there any work around that help?
Any help I appreciated.

Look up 'UV layout', 'texture stretching', etc. Any UV layout 101 tutorial should explain the reasons why you are getting more resolution in some areas and also where there is distortion (stretching).
