Problem with Wrap on a rig

Hello (again, sorry we're on a rush...)

So we're trying to rig our characters, everything went well BUT, the wraping. We tried to wrap some tiny objects (button on a shirt), and without the wrap, the rig is fluid, but right when i wrap it, its laggy like wow.

How can i fix that? Thanks a lot, I'm desperate!

normally you would commit these wrapped objects to vertex skinning as soon as the deformations look alright and not keep them live on a rig. the question is if your software of choice supports that kind of functionality.

oops didnt mention Maya, the soft im using, is it possible?

I don't think there is a way out of the box in Maya to convert wrap to skin. But you could just as easily apply skin and copy the weights from the base object, that the wrap was targeting.
