Been lurking on Polycount without building up the courage to post for too long, so here we go! This mossy guy is an original concept of mine, modeled in Maya and textured in Substance Painter over the past few weeks. Renders done in Marmoset Toolbag. Criticism welcome! There's still a bit of work to be done to polish it up.
It's a solid foundation! I'd say as a first small improvement is to apply some color zones on the character. Right now, the local hue of the skin is reading a monotone. Doesn't necessarily have to be a realistic human's skin color zone idea, but it'd be a good idea to start from.
