hey there. i'm working sometimes with meshes from games so uvw map isn't placed in the blue frame.
is there a way to move the map into the blue frame with the exact position, so i can export the template? or is there a way to export the template placed outer the blue frame?
thank you!

imported game meshes got their template sometimes outter this frame so i can't export the template. and i need the exact position to work on the texture.
If you have an older version and lacks of this functionality there is a old talk about this but not sure if it really solved anything

Also from other post:
I know this is an old thread, but there is a tool now which solves this, PolyUnwrapper

The toolset is free for personal/educational use.
It will be textured exactly the same way in 3ds Max, and in any game, there's no difference.
