Poser 10 Shadow problem on imported OBJ file?

What would be causing this black(shadow) at the base of the roof it is a mystery to me. I would like to solve it. Thanks

Looks like the top and the bottom of the roof is smoothed together. Put a hard edge.

Yes Thank you a couple of ring cuts around the roof btm and top as well as the chimney fixed it right up.
Thank you.
I should remember Poser does this.
