How exactly would you photoscan a stop sign?

I was going to photoscan a stop sign soon, but just for the textured red and white face, letters etc. How would I model this then add the scanned texture to the face?

Why scan this? Just photograph one and model it. Super simple geometry, even if you wanted a worn version.

I guess so. I just bought Agisoft Photoscan and thought about it, it would probably be better to just take a good picture and use that as my texture.
