Hey there. Deuces Mcgee here; and I'm looking for people in the line of modeling, texturing and rigging modular game models. I've been using Unity for roughly 2 years as a coder and am confident enough to start building prefabs for the market. I'm familiar with 3d modeling formats and have dabbled on and off in blender for as long as I can remember (>10 years :
@) and feel I'd make a great partner in collaborating with a more creative person. To cut to the pitch, I'm in search of someone to build drag and drop, customizable assets ranging from humanoids, flora, fauna, and inorganics for startup game devs. My inspiration came from messing with Unity's UMA 2 system which, though highly efficient and expansive, is a little too convoluted for the common Unity developer. My aim is to create and sell extremely flexible, low poly models that can be dragged and dropped into projects. Whether blendshapes or clever rigging is your preferred route, I'm quite proficient in using c# scripting to manage both and hopefully will be able to deploy an asset with just a single script. I have very little to offer as far as finances go, but I think modular asset generation is something that can be really useful if not needed in the asset store. Just a shot in the dark, really. I look forward to any replies I may receive and encourage ideas from all interested parties.
