hi everybody!
sorry to bother, I'm a young learning animator and I'm currently following a video tutorial where I'm creating my first walk cycle animation. My cycle is done but in the last module, my instructor start to create a rotation during the animation ( a Y rotation of 0 for frame 0 and 360 for frame 120) . I just find the result pretty weird.
Do you guys add rotation in your cycling animation in general for your show-reel ? is that a normal thing to do in animation?

Well, you can do that, I wouldn't say it looks weird. It's just to show off multiple angles of the walk. You can also split it up into 3 parts, such as front view, side, 3/4 if you don't like the turntable method.
