Hey Dean here I would like feedback on this jog animation. Its supposed to loose and fun ( its a snowball in his hands) any help would be appreciated thanks in advance https://www.syncsketch.com/sketch/4d29e847312d/#361648
It seems like this is more of a walk rather than a jog. I say that because at all times, it seems like one foot is always contacting the ground. In a jog/run, there is a suspension phase where both feet are off the ground. A ground plane would be helpful here.
There are some basic errors such as the chest not countering the hip in terms of twist. And when it does, it happens far too late.
I would look at the Animator's Survival Kit by Richard Williams. If you don't have this book, get it. And then take another crack at this. Post up your result with a ground plane as well.
Thank you for the critique. I have changed the chest and hips, to counter each other better, and made him hop a little more Its not perfect but I will probably try it again from scratch with a better plan Thanks again, Deano
