Cartoon Street - school project

Hi there, first work I post on artstation!

This is a school project for my last year, it ll be a street for a short film called "la Petite Odyssée". 

The colors are desaturated because the story at the beginning is a bit sad. 

Its still a wip (see the floor texture) but I guess im almost done here 


Do you guys have any suggestions, or CC ?

The ligthing is pretty dark, but I guess that is the mood you are going for.

i second the lighting comment, that is the first thing that stood out to me.  IF its a stylistic thing, then go for it, and perhaps push it more.  That way it looks intentional, right now it kind of looks like you didnt use enough lights.  Usually cartoony scenes tend to have a brighter, with tons of saturation

Ye I did it on purpose because in the beginning, and in the end the colors Come back with the happiness ! I can tell you the synopsis if it helps. But here is an old render, without any post production ! (This is an old lighting, but its good for now I guess i dont have any other render right now )
