Hello, I'm Alice and this is my sketchbook. Since 3D is my primary goal, my works posted will all be in 3D; I'll mostly post hourly sculpts and 3D wips/pieces. I'm still a beginner, but I hope to see a lot of progress this year.
Critiques and feedback are recommended and I would be very grateful for them all!
Here's my first, hour long head sculpt of an average male head:
I didn't have time to finish the ears. Hopefully as I get faster and improve, I'll be able to add them.
I had difficulties with the side of the head. I guess I should practice drawing it out more first.

I played around this time and decided to stylize it. Though it didn't have a clear direction, I think I did ok memorizing the silhouettes of the head shapes like the jaws. I haven't practiced eyelashes so that needs work.
Great work so far! Keep at it. For sculpting heads I'd recommend studying Asaro's Planes of the Head model. Also knowing the skull and other things go a long way - though I don't want to overwhelm you. It's worth buying the real thing and having on your desk if you have the money.

I'll try doing a study of the Asaro Head model. My personal peeve is the asymmetry on the sculpt, but I can just go through that. Plus I don't have to turn on x-symmetry when I start so there's that lol.
I do not like asaro heads. even simple ones. I'm mad.
Sorry about the rage last time. The important part is that I haven't quit + didn't hurt others.
Here's a 40 min sculpt I did today. I'm getting the hang of it somewhat, managed to put the ears in.

It can be a bit overwhelming but I think the anatomy4sculptors resources are very handy, at least it did help me quite a bit
Good luck and keep up the good work!
Sorry for the inactivity, I wasn't feeling well. I think I'm ok now but not sure exactly yet.
Also thanks for the link Yedp
Also thank you for the good luck!
