I've searched for some time and couldn't find the answer. I am modeling a curved W which I need to subdivide, but I'm unable to achieve satisfatory results. I've also tried creasing, but no avail. The peaks are nice and clean, but the valleys borders are very messed up. Been stuck quite some time on this one. If some hard surface expert can help me, I'll be very grateful!
Honestly i don't fully understand what you are tying to achieve. You want those valleys to be smooth? Or to be crips but front be smooth? In my opinion you are using to low geometry for that kind of shape.
Hi, thanks for the answer. The goal was to the valleys be as crisp as the peaks, but mantaining a very smooth front. This is the closest that I've came to the desired results (using zbrush crease). It is far from desirable.
