Hello. I imported an fbx asset from some other 3D software into Maya. They have multiple sets for some reason. I would like to dump all of them into map1 which is Maya's default UV set. The problem is that the asset is 130 mesh object. I have to select each one in the outliner 1 by 1, then go to the UV window, then Polygons > Copy Into New UV Set, type map1 and press ok. As you can imagine this is an EXTREMELY tedious process that takes a ridiculous amount of time. I can't possibly be the only person that has encountered it and I don't believe the search when it says no one has asked this before. Is there some function in Maya that can just dump all of them into map1 at once? I can't combine them because that destroys the UVs. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

And no, you're not the first.
