So I decided to revisit the FAL I did a while back. My goal was to tweak the mesh to fix problems, improve mesh accuracy overall, add some kind of working interior (previous version didn't really have any), as well as changing the furniture around. Initial goal was to make an SA58 railed handguard, but I couldn't find many references for that, so I guess that's not happening, unfortunately.
As per usual, this is going to be a game-ready mesh. Progress is still early, but for now, I have a highpoly render ready:
