Zbrush IMM Airbrush?

IMM brushes can be applied repeatedly along a curve, as well as doing this with Nanomesh.. but im looking to see if theres a way to kind of "airbrush" them on. That or a similar way of creating geometry thats not curve/polygroup reliant.

You can't do that with an IMM brush, but you can set a 3D Alpha brush to Spray.
