3DS Max FBX to Blender has always been the most difficult thing to manage. Lately I've been having incompatibilities with some, mainly bones. I custom rigged physic meshes onto a armature in 3DS Max and I share it to the world, some of the world use Blender of course, but when they import, they get a squished up boneset, it coiled itself up for what ever reason and messed up.
I have no idea why this happens, and I was curious if such a problem is known to happen and why. The rigging was done using a tool called InstantRig, and in 3DS Max the bones are dummies and points, so to add further insult the bones in blender are mishapened and ugly to look at. Been curious if theres other ways to import to Blender with rigging.
