Hi everyone, I'm currently working on this sword attack combo. Any kind of feedback to push my animation further, fixes, and suggestions would be much appreciated.
Hey DavidQ, this is just in time for the combo thread that just got started! Have you shot reference for this? I can add some pose notes another time when I'm at my computer, but even without pushing poses, there is a lot that can be done to sell the power. This will come from seeing the motion start in the hips, move through the torso as it twists and lags behind the hips, then out through the arms, etc. Reference will help hugely with this. Some good reference for the jump/stab is Brad Pits famous fight scene in the movie Troy. Looking forward to seeing your progress!

Thank you, some pose notes would be helpful. Great suggestion on the lagging motion, I will add that into the animation. It's funny that you mentioned Troy because that is exactly what I used for my reference.
